Simulated enterprise for working techniques in technological companies - IS

POSDRU/90/2.1/S/56319

More specific and complex requirements on the corporate labor market regarding the skills that prepare students for employment had an important contribution in building the Lisbon Strategy, which stipulates that each member state should focus on three things: attracting and maintaining as many people as possible from the labor market, improving the adaptability of workers and enterprises and increasing investments in human capital through better education and training systems.

PROJECT FINANCED FROM THE EUROPEAN SOCIAL FUND

In the spirit of this initiative, the simulated Enterprise Student is a project financed by the Operational Human Resources Development (DRU) 2007-2013, Priority Axis 2 – Correlation of lifelong learning and the labor market, in the major field of intervention 2.1 – the transition from school to working life, which aims to attract young people to the labor market through their strategic training, focused and controlled even by the technology companies in which they will be employed.

The general objective is to increase the adaptability and employment chances of a total of 600 graduates for the license in the future who will master the labor market, in the context of the knowledge-based society, by using an innovative tool (the concept of "fictitious society"), adapted to the economic realities and needs of the labor market in Romania.

The general objective will be achieved through the following specific objectives:

  • increasing access to information on innovative opportunities to facilitate the transition from student to employee status, through some simulated enterprises;
  • the implementation and adaptation of this innovative tool in Romanian higher education, depending on the specific European/national/regional economic context;
  • a training of human resources for the training of students in simulated companies that will be organized during the development of the project;
  • an improvement in the insertion of students on the labor market through interactive methods of implementing simulated learning enterprises and practical internships.

The evaluation of the project approaches, in order to increase the competitiveness of graduates on the labor market, by learning to work with developed tools.

The target group of the project consists of:

  • students from the four fields of studies selected for the development of the project (IT, computers and information technology, electronics and communications engineering and systems engineering);
  • tutors from companies interested in the selection, recruitment and training of students in the skills needed at the workplace.
